A single website to connect West Virginia military personnel to resources for you and your family. If you need help with employment, training or health care, this is the place where you and your family can find answers and assistance.
The Department of Veterans Assistance of West Virginia is here to assist eligible veterans, their widows, dependents and orphans in preparing and
presenting their claims for benefits of their rights and privileges under federal and state laws enacted for their benefits.

The Veterans Administration website has a wealth of information and provides helpful links to applications for services and benefits available to veterans. There are also links to special programs hosted by the Veterans Administration, such as Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment, the Homeless Veterans Program, and the Surviving Spouses and Dependents Program.
The Vet Centers are the people in the Veterans Administration who welcome home war veterans with honor by providing quality readjustment counseling in a caring manner. Vet Centers understand and appreciate veterans’ war experiences while assisting them and their family members toward a successful post-war adjustment in or near their community.

My HealthVet is the Veterans Administration’s (VA) Personal Health Record. This is a great way for veterans to keep track of their health records and information. Features recently added allow you to view VA appointments and check on lab results, get prescriptions refilled online, view prescription history and DoD military service information.
Get assistance for your family by applying through the numerous programs offered by Operation Homefront. Operation Homefront posts your need and solicits donations and help to meet that need.
Military OneSource provides services, information and tools to help deal with issues surrounding military life and deployment, family and recreation, health and relationships, financial and legal issues, and crisis and disasters.
